The story of JK Total Business Solutions

Having known each other for a number of years, and witnessing first-hand the struggles new businesses face when confronted by the legal and compliance maze which surrounds them, we set up JK Total Business Solutions to be the guiding hand businesses need.

With our experience and expertise we will ensure that businesses can start their journey on the right footing with the right insurance, correctly worded leases with no fancy clauses and the peace of mind that they are operating compliantly.

Who We Are

Jane Robson

is a qualified and experienced Quality Assurance and Compliance Officer who has worked in a large variety of organisations, from huge Plc’s to small family start-ups thus showing perspective of all aspects of business. During her career she has managed and mentored staff, dealing with all aspects of HR, plus has a wide knowledge of health and safety. In addition, she helped to run the family catering company and so has a good working knowledge of the food industry and the regulations around the same. Jane has specific compliance expertise in FCA and Ofqual compliance having worked at the Senior Management level in both sectors, liaising directly with the Regulators themselves, building relationships and enhancing the reputation of the companies she has been employed by. Jane has also delivered many training workshops on compliance subjects such as Complaints Handling, Data Protection, Conflicts of Interest, Anti-Money Laundering, Financial Crime Prevention – to name but a few.

Kirsty Landa

started her working career as a secretary/administrator firstly within the Financial Sector then moving to Law where she decided that she enjoyed and wished to progress her knowledge and career and qualified as a Property Lawyer to enable this. Kirsty worked within the legal sector for some 14 plus years before then deciding to change tack completely wherein she began to run Student Accommodation and has undertaken this for the past 6 years. Between both of her careers she has learned not only the aspects of law and property but also those of Health and Safety, DBS Compliance, management and mentoring of staff at all levels, she has also worked alongside Unipol and various institutes and work forces.
